Disney Cruise Line launches Cruise with ‘Frozen’ theme to Norway

Inspired by the success of the blockbuster film, ‘Frozen’ Disney has been promoting ‘Frozen’ theme based attractions since a while among its various franchises. Disney Cruise Line successfully completed its first ever cruise to the Norway, taking travelers aboard the Disney Magic. The 7-day cruise left Copenhagen in Denmark on 7th of June and sailed to the southwestern coast of Norway, halting at four destinations, namely Stavenger, Alensund, Geirganger and Bergen. This was the first cruise undertaken by the Disney Cruise Line to a cold destination unlike all the other cruises offered by the Disney Cruise Line which travels to warmer places.

The Disney Magic, is the oldest of the four ships owned by the Disney Cruise Line. In 2013 the Disney Magic was updated; the cabins on Disney Cruises were enlarged than the regular cruise cabins specifically keeping the cruise-friendly families in mind.
The Disney Cruise Line has incomparable entertainment for kids entered around the innumerable Disney characters. Along with this there are other ‘non’ Disney cabaret performances in the many clubs and lounges located around the ship. Disney has specifically added many ‘Frozen’ elements, including meet-and-greet with Anna, Elsa and Olaf. A few of the many ‘Frozen’ entered attractions on the cruise are “Freezing the night Away with Anna, Elsa and Friends”, “Disney Dreams … An Enchanted Classic” and multiple daily screenings of the Disney Blockbuster film, ‘Frozen’.

Another aspect of the Disney Cruise Line which sets it apart is its “rotational dining” schedule. The wait staff followed the guests to the various restaurants they went to, and eventually got to know their tastes and preferences. There was a buffet restaurant opened for all three meals and there are quick eating options such as burgers, pizza and so on available on the pool deck. Overall the food quality of the Disney is of high quality and guests specially appreciated the food served at Palo (one of the three restaurants).
Overall, the cruise was a nice blend of the natural beauty of Norway and the fictional and beautiful world of Disney, and its characters. The warmth of the crew and Norwegian people kept the guests content and made them enjoy their experience.
